The N.W.R.A.

With an impotent attempt to raise anticipation for the release of our new album now completely behind us, I can now safely say that said album will at the earliest see the light of day in September (note: Weezy's record's been pushed back, too). You and I both know, of course, that bootleg VHS copies of the album will probably be circulating within the hour--but it's nice to feel like we have some semblance of control over these matters. Details are certainly to follow.

In the meantime, we'll be offering a sort of backhanded preview in the form of a new 7", the second installment of Aagoo Records' David Horvitz Picture Disc Series (other past and future participants include Casiotone For the Painfully Alone, No Age, Abe Vigoda, Sunset Rubdown, and Mika Miko). This particular preview is going to be of the Expensive As Fuck variety, as each individual platter will be stamped in the blood of the Czech Republican Proletariat. But at least it looks pretty:

Rachael face side will misrepresent entirely one song from the forthcoming LP with an inward-looking alternate mix. This song is called "GUT Symmetries". This version of the song attaches the questionable parenthetical "(Cloud-Chamber version)". Side B also includes a parenthetical, but this one is thankfully not of our doing: the "studio" version of long-time live staple "Joan Of Arc (Maid of Orleans)" by Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark.

To celebrate this release, we are pleased to announce that we'll be performing a brief tour up and down and up and down the West Coast beginning in May, in a series of generally unfuckwithable line ups. We did our best to go strictly all ages this go around, but as we weren't responsible for all of the shows, there are some hiccups.
